How to Improve the Heat Dissipation of LED Displays

In practice, improving the heat dissipation performance of LED displays not only effectively improves the heat dissipation efficiency of LED displays, but also achieves the effect of power saving, which is more conducive to improving the service life of LED displays.
1. Fan cooling: Use a long life efficient fan inside the lamp housing to enhance heat dissipation. The commonly used method is low cost and good effect.
2. Use aluminum heat sink, which is the most common way to dissipate heat. Use aluminum heat sink as a part of the housing to increase the heat dissipation area.
3. Aerohydrodynamics, which uses the shape of the lamp housing to generate convective air, is the lowest cost method of enhancing heat dissipation.
4. Surface radiation heat dissipation treatment: The surface of the lamp housing needs to undergo radiation heat dissipation treatment. The relatively simple method is to apply radiation heat dissipation paint, which can carry the heat away from the surface of the lamp housing with radiation.
5. Integration of heat conduction and heat dissipation - The use of ceramics with high thermal conductivity for heat dissipation of the lamp housing is to reduce the operating temperature of LED HD display chips. Due to the large gap between the expansion coefficient of LED chips and the thermal conductivity of metals and heat dissipation materials that we often use, it is not possible to directly weld the LED core to avoid damage to the LED display chips due to high and low temperature thermal stress.
6. Heat pipe heat dissipation uses heat pipe technology to transfer heat from the LED display chip to the housing heat sink.
7. Thermal conductive plastic shell, which is filled with commercial thermal conductive materials by injection into the plastic shell, thereby increasing the thermal conductivity and heat dissipation ability of the plastic shell.
It can be seen that the maturity and progress of LED display screen heat dissipation technology will benefit its energy-saving and environmental protection concept. When producing LED display screens, LED electronic display screen manufacturers have various methods to improve the heat dissipation of LED display screens. Heat dissipation will have different considerations depending on the size of the power and the place of use.
